The Atlantic Club and the Worcester County Warriors Against Opiate Addiction, in partnership with the Worcester Goes Purple initiative, are joining together and hosting the Virtual Walk for Recovery during the entire month of September 2020. September is National Recovery Month and we feel it is our obligation to protect those who support the Recovery Community we serve and practice social distancing during these extraordinary times.

Proceeds from the Virtual Walk for Recovery benefits members of the Worcester County recovery community, as well as those seeking recovery. Scholarships for individuals affected by addiction are also funded by the Walk.

                                     Walk Virtually from Anywhere, Anytime!

The current pandemic has certainly changed all of our lives and addiction continues to affect many individuals and families in all our communities. We know times are tough for all. TOGETHER….we must continue to fight this disease of addiction; that takes it tolls on the health and prosperity of our community.

Break the Stigma… It all starts with the First Step!

  • The Atlantic Club is dedicated to helping individuals and their families recover from the disease of addiction. We provide the support necessary to live a healthy life in recovery and become an active member of our community. We offer 12-step programs and sober events. The Club is open 24/7, with a manager on duty at all times, to assist any individual seeking help with their addictions.
  • The Worcester County Warriors Against Opiate Addiction mission is “To provide Education, Awareness, Support and Navigation of Resources to the People of Worcester County Who Have Been Impacted by Opiate Addiction”
  • Worcester Goes Purple is an awareness project to engage the community in preventing substance abuse and promoting healthy life choices. Education is key. Our goal is to help all those with addictions seek recovery and support their journey.
