We are delighted to announce that The Atlantic Club and the Worcester Goes  Purple/ Warriors Against Addiction are hosting a “On the Boards” and Virtual Walk for Recovery in 2021. Last year’s walk was a huge success, raising $10,000! Proceeds from the Walk for Recovery benefit members of the local recovery community, as well as those seeking refuge from addiction. Scholarships for individuals affected by addiction are also funded by the Walk.

The Virtual Walk for Recovery will be held during National Recovery Month, starting on September 1st through the actual walk on September 12, 2021. Participants can join us on the boards at 9am September 12th or walk Anywhere, Anytime! We feel it is our obligation to protect the recovery community we serve and practice social distancing during this extraordinary time.  We would be honored to have you join the Walk as a sponsor to help bring awareness, resources, and solutions to addiction.

                                     Walk Virtually from Anywhere, Anytime!

The current pandemic has certainly changed all of our lives and addiction continues to affect many individuals and families in all our communities. We know times are tough for all. TOGETHER….we must continue to fight this disease of addiction; that takes it tolls on the health and prosperity of our community.

Break the Stigma… It all starts with the First Step!

The Club is open 24/7, with a manager on duty at all times, to assist any individual seeking help with their addictions.
  • Worcester Goes Purple is an awareness project to engage the community in preventing substance abuse and promoting healthy life choices. Education is key. Our goal is to help all those with addictions seek recovery and support their journey.
