Four (4) Scholarships of $1000.00 each are available for College and/or Trade School
Scholarship #1- Eligible for Highschool Seniors attending school in the fall of 2024. Deadline May 3, 2024
The Atlantic Club and Worcester Goes Purple are offering two (2) scholarships, in the amount of $1000 each to a Worcester County High School senior. The awarding of this scholarship will be based on an essay and recommendation from a guidance counselor. Student grade point average and class standing will NOT be factors in the decision process. The essay should be no more than two (2) typewritten pages and focus on the topic “How Addiction has Affected My family”. The applicant should feel free to openly describe how addiction has impacted them and be assured that the information in the essay will be kept in the highest confidence.

Scholarship #2- Eligible for persons in recovery who have at least one year of recovery and have been accepted into trade school or college. Deadline June 3, 2024
Two scholarships in the amount of $1000.00 each will be awarded to a college or trade school student who has demonstrated sustained recovery (min of one year) from addiction. The applicant should feel free to openly describe how addiction has impacted them and be assured that the information in the essay will be kept in the highest confidence.
