The Atlantic Club is a 501 (3) (c) non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals and their families recover from the disease of addiction. Its mission is to provide support to those suffering from addiction; by giving them the help necessary to live a healthy life in recovery and become an active member in our community. We offer 12-step programs, life style balance classes, sober events for individuals and their families, an exercise room and internet access for those looking for jobs and/or housing. It is open 24/7 with a manager on duty at all times to assist any individual seeking refuge from addiction. We need the help of you and our community.
The Atlantic Club is hosting its “6th Annual Walk/Run for Recovery” on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 10am- Noon. We hope the fifth year of our event on the boards will be the most successful year yet.
As we did last year a portion of proceeds will go towards The Atlantic Club, so we can continue our mission in our community, by helping individuals/families overcome addiction and give them the resources they need to stay clean and sober. Last year we awarded two scholarships to high school students. This year we will continue with this tradition. The Atlantic Club recovery fellowship hopes to give back to a student who has been affected by addiction and help him/her full-fill their dreams.
Today, we are asking for your help to erase the stigma that is associated with the disease of addiction by making a simple donation.
Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated! Please send all donations to: The Atlantic Club, Attn: Sue Rodden, PO Box 563, Ocean City, MD 21842. Make checks payable to The Atlantic Club.Donations may be made on the website for the Atlantic Club, www.atlanticclubocmd.org.
